NEW YORK (May 4, 2016) – This April, the ladies and gentleman at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester joined together in the hotels’ annual diaper drive to contribute over 5,000 diapers benefitting the Westchester Jewish Community Services Kids’ Kloset and their Third Annual Fashion Show on Sunday, May 15, 2016.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester ladies and gentleman used the month of April to collect diapers for the annual diaper drive in hopes to reach a goal of 3,500 diapers to donate to Kids’ Kloset, a volunteer-driven program that provides Westchester County children and families with goods free of charge. Hotel departments, Resident Owners, as well as individual employees contributed 5,154 diapers and surpassed the expected goal, making it the largest diaper donation in the hotels’ history.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment for the hotel,” said Jeff Dziak, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester. “Our ladies and gentleman are always enthusiastic about participating in our Community Footprint programs and are an inspiration as they impact the lives of others”

Kids’ Kloset is a volunteer program of Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), which provides “Bags of Love” to thousands of children in need in Westchester. Kids’ Kloset collects “Bags of Love” which are filled with gently used clothing, shoes, coats and diapers and are given to children from newborns to 18 years of age throughout Westchester County.
