White Plains, N.Y. – December 15, 2015 –Five chefs and four engineers spent over 229 hours to sketch, bake, assemble and decorate this year’s creation. The house is made of 68 lbs. of baking flour 31 lbs. of sugar,19 lbs. of brown sugar, 17 lbs. of butter, 18lbs of whole eggs, 2 lbs. of egg whites, ¾ lbs. of baking powder, ½ lbs. of molasses, ¼ lbs. of ginger, and ¼lbs. of cinnamon. The icing consists of65lbs. of powdered sugar, 14 lbs. of egg whites and ½ lb. of cream of tartar. The Chefs used over 21 different candies for ornamentation.
