PHILADELPHIA, PA. (November 21, 2017) – The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia holiday season creates memories for a lifetime with its iconic offerings of the delicious Hot Chocolate, whimsical Gingerbread Workshop and exclusive Holiday Tea.


Experience the holiday season with a delightful cup of Hot Chocolate. This classic hot chocolate is made with frothy steamed milk and topped with delicious homemade whipped cream. You can add liquor of your choice to any cup. November 24 – January 5. Served Wednesday – Sunday, noon – 10 pm. $12 classic hot chocolate, extra $5 for a shot of liquor of your choice.


Build your own Gingerbread House. This yearly tradition at The Ritz-Carlton is fun for the entire family. From gumdrops on the rooftop to ice cream cone landscaping, children and adults work together to create confectionary masterpieces to take home. The event receives a surprise visit from Santa Claus and includes a gingerbread house, custom apron and hat per child, light fare, non-alcoholic beverages and sparkling wine. December 2, 9, 16 and 23.1 pm – 3 pm, Petite Ballroom, 2nd Floor. Reservations required. $99 per adult / $79 per child, inclusive of service charge and taxes.


The exclusive The Ritz-Carlton Holiday Tea returns for two special dates. Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season on the Arden & Mellon Balcony overlooking the majestic marble lobby built in 1904, with soaring 142 foot high oculus. Enjoy a selection of tea and sparkling wine, an assortment of savory finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and a variety of handmade pastries by our Ritz-Carlton Chefs. December 10 and 16. 3 pm, Arden & Mellon Balcony, 2nd Floor. Reservations required: tables of 2, 4 and 6 persons only. Limited 40 seats available per day. $75 per person.
