Should I shave before a treatment? Shaving is recommended, but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What should I wear during my treatment? Most massages and body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Robes, sarongs and slippers are provided. Lockers are available for your personal items. Spa Botanico will provide clothing for the Thai and Hammock Massages.
Is there a minimum age for spa services? Guests must be at least 16 years of age for facial services and 18 years of age for massages and body treatments. Salon services are available for guests of all ages.Facial and Salon guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

What about payment for spa services? Spa Botanico accepts all major credit cards. Spa services may also be charged to your resort guest room. Please present gift certificates at spa check-in. Applicable discounts will not apply to spa packages, promotions, special events or holidays.

What if I have special health considerations? Please notify our Spa reservation department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant? While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa reservation agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
