Restaurant’s founder, Laurent Tourondel, to host anniversary events

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (DEC. 1, 2016) – The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan proudly announces the ten-year anniversary of being home to BLT Steak’s first Caribbean outpost. The world-renowned restaurant is celebrating a decade of being part of the luxury hotel with a series of fine dining events, including the celebrity chef Laurent Tourondel.

“I am thrilled to celebrate the tenth year anniversary of BLT Steak in Puerto Rico”, said Chef Tourondel, founder of BLT Steak. “I am so proud of this restaurant and all who work so hard to make it what it is,” he sustained.  

On an island known for discerning and evolving culinary tastes, the award-winning restaurant has remained a guest favorite.

The popular steakhouse will kick off the festivities with an epicurean feast of the senses.

On November 30, Tourondel, known as a culinary master, will prepare a seven-course paring dinner for a select group of guests. The exclusive dinner will feature enticing dishes including a delicate amuse- bouche of yellowtail with an orange confit, topped with Ossetra caviar and paired with a delightful Champagne brut. Highlighting the menu is a succulent spiced duck breast harmonized with a velvety full-bodied red wine.  The delectable experience culminates with a rich dessert duo paired with an intensely fragrant complementary glass of wine.

For the ultimate in refined-steakhouse dining, on December, 1 an exclusive group will commemorate the restaurant’s 10th anniversary with a grand cocktail event at the award-winning restaurant. Invitees can enjoy the evening with the best in Champagne and wines, and a selection of stations showcasing miniature versions of BLT Steak’s signature dishes prepared by French chef Tourondel.
