Doha, Qatar – August 2017 – Mr. Belal Al Kadry, will be responsible of managing and leading all aspects of the resort’s operations, including financial performance, guest engagement, employee development and brand recognition.
An hotelier from very early age, Mr. Kadry brings 19 years of experience in the hotel industry to Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel. A Canadian national with Lebanese roots, he obtained a bachelor degree in hotel management and marketing from the Lebanese American University of Beirut, Lebanon in July 1998. Having worked with several hotels in the Middle East, he possesses a wide range of knowledge in the hospitality industry. Mr. Kadry began his early career in Public Relations. Determined to advance his career in the hotel industry, he pursued several sales positions that offered him the chance to manage the implementation of sales and marketing strategies and development of new business, and helped maximize profitability for the hotels and facilitated outstanding quality service.

Mr. Kadry began his Ritz-Carlton career at The Ritz- Carlton, Doha as Director of Sales and Marketing, moving to operations as an Executive Assistant Manager. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Hotel Manager of Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel a 371-room hotel, 26 conference rooms, nine restaurants and extensive facilities. There he led a team of more than 700 ladies and gentlemen and implemented total quality management, which improved market share for the property and elevated guest satisfaction ratings. He was part of the renovation team and was responsible for the management of the daily operations.
He has also worked in several hotels including Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Le Meridian, Kuwait and Doha Marriott prior to joining Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
