Business tourists account for 70% of all hotel guests While local leisure account for 30% at luxury property
RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, December 2015: With 1-in-2 hotel guests at the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh visiting the Kingdom for business purposes from international markets, the luxury hotel is retraining its focus on this crucial segment with a bespoke set of services. According to the hotel, half of its residents are regional and international business tourists from the GCC as well as the UK, US and Germany. Of the rest, 20 per cent tend to be business tourists from domestic markets such as Jeddah, Damam, Taif to name a few.
