The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul presents Go Rio!, a unique room package designed for Rio Olympics spectators and available until August 22. The Go Rio! package provides 24 hours in a Superior Deluxe Room from the time of check-in, allowing guests to watch the 2016 Rio Olympics live in the small hours of the morning while enjoying a special in-room dining menu.
The Go Rio! package in-room dining menu includes a choice of two mains, from smoked salmon, fried chicken and assorted tempura, plus a choice of one dish from a side menu of green salad, assorted potato fries and assorted fruit. Eight cans of Asahi, Heineken and other beers, plus beef jerky, are also provided. The package is priced at 240,000 won (plus tax and service charge).
Meanwhile, The Garden and Oksan Buffet at The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul are serving promotional menus of traditional Brazilian and South American cuisine until August 21.
The Garden presents Unlimited Brazilian BBQ, featuring traditional Brazilian favorites including churrasco, with meat, vegetables and fruit grilled on skewers; and feijoada, a hearty stew of black beans and pork.
Alongside the Brazilian dishes is a course menu of lobster salad, lamb ribs and king prawns, and chocolate cake, while unlimited servings of the main dishes – churrasco, lamb ribs and king prawns – are available. In addition, all guests choosing the Unlimited Brazilian Barbecue will be offered a Gold Medallist Cocktail, created in support of Olympic athletes' quest for gold. The menu is priced at 85,000 won (including tax and service charges).
Oksan Buffet is serving a range of South American dishes, prepared to order by chefs at live cooking stations, in a unique ambience that conjures up the feel of global party capital Rio de Janeiro. Festive dishes include favorite Brazilian snack coxinha, seafood dish moqueca, and pastel, Brazil's own variety of pie or deep-fried dumpling.
