Singapore – 30 June 2017 – Summer Pavilion, signature Cantonese restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore has once again been recognised by the Michelin Guide Singapore 2017 with a one-star rating, reaffirming the luxury hotel’s status as a standout institution of culinary excellence and innovation.

Helmed by Chinese Executive Chef Cheung Siu Kong and Restaurant Manager, Gery Lee, Summer Pavilion continues to impress diners with its contemporary interiors, personalised service and culinary craftsmanship.

“Having been in the industry for more than 25 years, I have witnessed the continuous evolution of the culinary arts, which in turn spurs me to be innovative with my recipes to keep up with the changing palates of our guests. Receiving this accolade from the esteemed Michelin Guide is both humbling and motivating,” said Chef Cheung.

In celebration of this prestigious accolade, Summer Pavilion has launched a tasting menu which features new culinary highlights specially crafted by Chef Cheung. These include the smoked Australian abalone with sautéed mushrooms, pan-fried Canadian lobster with black truffle sauce and a sweet potato dessert trio. Priced from SGD 148 per person, the tasting menu will be available during lunch and dinner from 1 July to 30 September 2017. Please refer to Appendix  for the menu.
