Barcelona - November 10, 2015 - Hotel Arts Barcelona is celebrating this year’s holiday season with Christmas inspired floral designs, the finest culinary experiences, and a glamorous 007 themed NYE gala dinner at the Gran Saló Gaudí. From the lobby designed to evoke a seasonal forest, to holiday menus of haute cuisine, to an unforgettable adventure, inspired by the saga of the world’s most famous spy, Hotel Arts has prepared an indulgent seasonal experience for guests.

Holiday Forest Welcomes Guests to Enjoy the Season
Upon stepping foot in the lobby, guests will immediately be surrounded by the sweet fragrance of pine, as Australian floral designer Donna Stain’s Christmas Forest immerses travelers in the scents of the season. Guests will be invited on a sensory voyage through the artful forest installation of floral designer Stain, composed of varied decorative materials, including festive tinsel. Attracting visitors to enter and explore, the Christmas Forest will hide countless twinkling Christmas lights and small, artfully arranged mirrors. Stain's intent is to fill the space with illumination and joy, encouraging the feelings of happiness and optimism associated with the festive season.

Guest interested in learning from the expert in floral decoration will also have the opportunity to join a floral workshop at the hotel, inspired by the holidays and held on December 12.

Christmas delights from the Kitchens of Enoteca and Arola
At the two-Michelin starred restaurant, Enoteca, Chef Paco Pérez will treat guests to an innovative menu emphasizing the flavors of the Mediterranean. Over the Christmas holidays (December 24 – 26), guests can enjoy a menu of "Delicate bite-sized Christmas snacks" followed by four courses. Not to be missed are the “Truffled sole meunière with a wild mushroom mille-feuille” as well as the classic “Christmas Poulard chicken”.

At Arola Restaurant, Chef Sergi Arola will prepare a more casual menu, combining traditional Catalan cuisine and innovation. He will feature classic dishes like “Squid Sandwich”, “Patatas Bravas Arola”, and the traditional Catalan casserole “Escudella” with foie gras, Santa Pau beans and winter green cabbage. The Christmas Surprises or "Nadal's uncle" a local holiday treat particularly suited to families will be reinvented through Arola’s creativity.

Lights, Camera, Action! in the Gran Saló Gaudi
On December 31, guests will celebrate the last day of the year with a glamorous gala dinner at the Gran Saló Gaudí ballroom inspired by the adventures of the famous British agent "007". An Aston Martin will greet guests prior to hitting the red carpet in high fashion. Before entering the Gran Saló Gaudí Ballroom, attendees will be greeted with Laurent Perrier champagne and Dry Martini cocktails, shaken and not stirred, served in an ice bar with an engraved "007". Guests will enjoy a cooking demonstration and a selection of gourmet snacks like oysters, blue fin tuna, black truffle, and Iberian ham. Once inside the Gran Saló Gaudí ballroom, guests will be treated to culinary highlights developed by Chef Antonio Sáez, such as “Terrine of Foie Gras and Caramelized Smoked Salmon” followed by a “Lamb Shank Cooked at Low Temperature, Truffled Potatoes, Ragout of Mushrooms and Radicchio”. Young guests can enjoy a menu catered to their palates, while being kept busy with numerous activities and games. After dinner, a live orchestra will entertain guests with famous 007 tunes.

Culinary Celebrations for New Year’s Eve
For guests who prefer a New Year's Eve dinner with spectacular views of the Mediterranean combined with innovative and exotic cuisine for the most discerning palates, Enoteca Restaurant will move to the Art 41 space located on the 41st floor of the hotel. The exclusive dinner will be designed by Chef Paco Pérez, highlighting dishes like the “Quail egg in tempura with sea urchin”, “Truffled gnocchis with egg yolk and blue lobster” and “Kagoshima Wagyu beef” (prepared in two ways), just to name a few. After dinner guests will have access to the Gran Saló Gaudi and the after-dinner ball.

Arola Restaurant will also offer a special menu to celebrate the end of the year. Chef Sergi Arola will develop culinary delights such as “Red Prawns with Plankton” and “Lamb with apple, Payoyo cheese and Winter truffle”. A selection of classic desserts reinterpreted by the famous Barcelona chef will be the final course before dinner will give way to the Gran Saló Gaudi festivities.
