The celebration will also extend to a one-of-a-kind French dinner announced for February 14 and prepared and presented by famed French chefs Damien Faure of The Grill and his wife, Simone Faure, of La Pâtisserie Chouquette in St. Louis.
In the stunningly-refurnished Ritz-Carlton Lobby Lounge, four Saturdays of romantic Cupid’s Cup Tea will take place on February 6, 13, 20 and 27. This St. Louis tradition will feature enticing holiday menu additions to include White Chocolate Raspberry Opera Cake, Chocolate-Dipped Cherry Ganache Tarts, Candy Heart French Macarons and an interactive dessert station complete with strawberries to dip in rich velvety chocolate. Cupid’s Cup Tea is priced at $49 USD excluding tax and gratuity and may be enjoyed at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday seatings.
Valentine’s Dinner at The Grill will be served from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on both February 12 and February 13 and will showcase the best of The Grill’s acclaimed dinner menu. Priced at $99 USD per person exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity, the prix fixe menu will include highlights of an Oyster Threesome, Georges Bank Sea Scallops, Herb-Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Lemon Sole Meunière, Pecan-Crusted Lamb Loin, Striped Sea Bass and dessert choices of Crimson Berry Pavlova with Passion Fruit Cream, Valrhona Chocolate Orange Cake with Citrus Fruit Caviar and Dragon Fruit Ice Cream, or shared Mexican Chocolate Fondue and White Chocolate Raspberry Fondue served with Heart Marshmallow, Strawberries and Linzer Cookie.
On Sunday, February 14, St. Louis’s favorite French culinary couple, Chef Damien Faure and Chef Simone Faure, will join forces to present Soirée d’Amour – a romantic evening of fabulous French cuisine prepared and personally hosted by the Faures. Evoking the charms of Old World Paris, Soirée d’Amour will offer a one-of-a-kind epicurean French menu and access to 75 reserved guests only. The occasion represents the first time the Faures have co-hosted a major St. Louis dining event. Priced at $149 USD per person plus tax/gratuity, and including a Champagne toast, the evening’s four-course menu will showcase some of the most enticing of French culinary creations, including entrées of Filet Flambé au Cognac, Sea Bass en Amandine and Coq Au Vin, plus tempting dessert selections highlighted by Simone Faure’s Liaison Raspberry White Chocolate Tiramisu Crêpe Cake.
