LOUIS, MO. -- September 23, 2015 -- The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis will start the trick or treating early for young Halloween celebrants, as Trick or Tea will be presented Halloween morning in the hotel Lobby Lounge. The October 31 experience is offered at 11:30 A.M. on Halloween Saturday, providing the opportunity for area children to don their costumes early, enjoy a delightful tea of sweet treats, and then stroll through the hotel with their treat bags, collecting tasty surprises to take home from the hotel.
A few highlights of the Halloween Trick or Tea menu are Spider Cookies, Bat Brownies, Spooky Strawberries, Witches’ Fingers Cookies, Mummy Cupcakes and Sorcerer’s Scones with Devonshire Clotted Cream and Lemon Curdling Scream. Mini-sandwiches will provide savory bites such as Shivering Smoked Salmon Rosette on Cornbread Coffin with Creepy Crab Claw Spread, Cobwebbed Curried Chicken Salad Tart with Eyeballs, Twilight Troll Open-Faced Egg Pieces, and more.
