Sweet #RCMemories Coming to the Hotel’s Restaurants and Events

ST. LOUIS, MO. – October 22, 2015 – Jeanine Edmonds-Mott has been named Pastry Chef for The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, advancing from her most recent position as Pastry Supervisor for the award-winning luxury hotel. Since joining the property six years ago, Edmonds-Mott has managed its busy pastry operations, supervising the kitchen team and collaborating on menu preparation for The Grill, The Restaurant, The Lobby Lounge, The Club Lounge and In-Room Dining.

Jeanine Edmonds-Mott is a long-time culinarian for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, having joined the brand in 2004 as a Pastry Extern for renowned Maestro at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. Since then, she has held high-profile Pastry Cook positions at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia, The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans and The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, Miami, directing pastry operations for multiple restaurants, pioneering new chocolate buffet presentations and creating innovative dessert experiences for events ranging from Afternoon Tea to galas, banquets and celebrity weddings.

An accomplished team leader, Edmonds-Mott has been lauded not only by hotel guests and culinary aficionados, but also by her peers in the pastry and hotel worlds, winning numerous Ritz-Carlton recognitions. “We are truly delighted to welcome Jeanine Edmonds-Mott in her new role as Pastry Chef,” said Melissa Lee, Executive Chef for The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis. “Jeanine is an inspiring pastry artist, and her hand-crafted chocolate showpieces saluting the seasons will be a treat to see throughout the year. She has just completed a stunning new piece for the fall, inspired by the vibrant colors and memories of the autumn landscape crafted into a pure chocolate masterpiece.”

Jeanine Edmonds-Mott is an Economics graduate of The College of Wooster and of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, where she earned a degree in Specialized Technology, completed the Le Cordon Bleu program in Pâtisserie and Baking, and won highest honors as valedictorian. She joins a roster of versatile woman leaders at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, include General Manager Amanda Joiner, Executive Chef Melissa Lee, and Director of Sales and Marketing Christie Pink.
