Pink Ribbons and Sweet Dreams Overnight Package Also Offered for October

ST. LOUIS, MO. -- September 14, 2017 -- The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis’ beloved Afternoon Tea will take on a pink twist and charity component next month, as the hotel supports breast cancer patients, survivors, friends and families with a special series of Pink Ribbon Teas. Proceeds from the four teas will benefit the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center for breast cancer awareness and research.

Dates for the offering are October 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2017, when the hotel’s Saturday Afternoon Tea will transform into Pink Ribbon Tea -- complete with flavorful finger sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and select sweet treats created or garnished in pink. Optional pink Champagne will be available for those wishing to upgrade to the “royal” version of tea.

Adding to this experience, a Siteman Cancer Center physician will be on-hand during the early seating on each of these special Saturdays, to provide remarks and related health information. As a further treat, the October 21st tea will be presented as a Special Fashion Edition, featuring an exclusive look at the season’s latest apparel and jewelry trends from one of the city’s most prestigious retailers. October 21 tea guests will receive a special gift from the retailer, who will also donate 10 percent of October 19-21 shopping proceeds to the Siteman Cancer Center.

Throughout the Pink Ribbon Tea month as well, guests and area residents can celebrate a loved one, survivor or patient by leaving a personalized pink ribbon on the pink ribbon tree that will be displayed in the hotel lobby in October. For those wishing to make a night of it, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis will also offer its annual Pink Ribbons & Sweet Dreams weekend overnight package throughout October, to be highlighted by luxury accommodations, breakfast for two, Pink Ribbons and Sweet Dreams Turndown Service including a chef-designed pink amenity, and pink ribbons for guests to personalize and display on the hotel Lobby’s pink ribbon tea.
