ST. LOUIS, MO. – October 24, 2017 – Holiday dreams will soon come alive at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, as the hotel lobby will be brilliantly adorned for the 2017 holidays, complete with an enchanting gingerbread village, brightly detailed edible houses, sweet and sugary characters and a wonderland of eye candy for kids of all ages to see. The delectable display will be available for holiday viewing beginning November 24, 2017 and will help to support a needy cause, as guests and members of the public may purchase and personalize a brick for the display for $15 USD; 100 percent of these proceeds will be donated by the hotel to Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis.

A further highlight of this year’s holidays at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis will be the December 16 and 17 “Reindeer Editions” of beloved Brunch with Santa and Teddy Bear Tea. These highly engaging animal meet-and-greets will feature a special visit by a live reindeer – just in the saint nick of time to assist with Santa’s December workload.

Hotel guests and the public are invited to partake in holiday dining and events at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, from Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts to the popular traditions of Teddy Bear Tea and Brunch with Santa, along with an epicurean five-course New Year’s Eve dinner in The Grill. As December 31 nears its end, guests are also invited to raise a toast to 2018 in St. Louis’ ultimate see-and-be-seen spot, The Lobby Lounge.

Thanksgiving Brunch in The Restaurant
Thursday, November 23, 2017 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The city’s most bountiful Thanksgiving Day brunch will feature whole-roasted free-range turkey, honey-glazed ham, salt-crusted red snapper, beef short ribs, roasted chicken, barbecued shrimp,  chilled seafood, sushi and sashimi, soups, salads, oysters, snow crab claws, antipasti, abundant  breakfast favorites and a children’s buffet.

An array of desserts will include pumpkin roulade, apple pie cheesecake, maple choux, chocolate orange entremets, mini-pumpkin pie, crisp pear and honey crème brûlée, carrot cake cupcakes, peanut butter & jelly opera torte, chocolate pecan pie bites, pistachio raspberry frangipane tart, Snickerdoodle™ bars, s’mores pot de crème, almond crème cake, and a special action station featuring bananas Foster bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream. The Ritz-Carlton pastry team has been busy creating a magical new lobby wonderland for the holiday season. Guests can begin viewing this creation on Friday, November 24. Guests and members of the public may purchase and personalize a brick for this scene for $15 USD, with 100 percent of the proceeds to be donated to Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis.
