Manarat Al Saadiyat Centre
Manarat Al Saadiyat literally means 'the place of enlightenment'. It is a 15,400 sqm visitor centre, designed to bring the vision of Saadiyat island to life through an interactive experience that showcases the history, culture and future plans of Saadiyat. An entire district on Saadiyat Island is devoted to culture and the arts. This architectural work of art is one of the world’s largest mosques, with a capacity for an astonishing 40,000 worshippers. It features 80 domes, approximately 1000 columns, 24 gold plated chandeliers and the world’s largest hand woven carpet.
