New Director of Restaurants and Chef Bring an Elevated Experience to

ARLINGTON, VA (December 2017) – The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City has recently appointed a new culinary and leadership team for their restaurant, fyve Restaurant Lounge. The restaurant, which celebrates its strong international community with globally inspired cuisine, features seasonally influenced dishes paired with an extensive wine list to bring sophisticated dining to Arlington, Virginia.
The property has enlisted Dewayne Wright to assume the role of Director of Restaurants, where he will oversee all day-to-day operations of fyve Restaurant Lounge, and ensure the quality of each guest’s experience while they dine at the Pentagon City hotspot.
Fresh flavors and dishes can be expected in fyve, with the appointment of Chef Jordan Whitney as Restaurant Chef. A Dallas native with over 10 years’ experience, Whitney attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin, and afterwards held positions at local Dallas institutions including Fearings Restaurant, honing his culinary skills under the renowned Chef Dean Fearings. He is a veteran in The Ritz-Carlton brand, coming to The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City after holding various positions for almost seven years at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
