Take your palate on a journey around the globe on Sunday, October 20th as the culinary team prepares unique global street-food stations complemented by local craft beer tastings, live music, and lawn games.

The Pacific Ocean sets the scene on the Dana Lawn for the Pacific Northwest Seafood Celebration presented by Executive Chef Andrew Litherland. Guests can enjoy a behind-the-scenes look as the culinary team prepares the entire menu in an outdoor kitchen. The family-style menu features a fresh raw bar of crab claws, oysters, and shrimp, along with entrees of hickory elk ribs, lobster and summer truffle cavatelli, pork belly, and crispy Brussel sprouts. These delectable dishes along with others will be paired with Pacific Northwest wines from Ponzi Vineyards, a premier winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

President and second-generation vintner Anna Maria Ponzi will also be on-site to guide the pairing experience. Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Haage concludes the evening on a sweet note with seasonal desserts, including honey and white peach cake, crème fraiche cheesecake, and warm vanilla fig crumble.

Coastal Brews & Bites reimagines a backyard barbecue with a relaxed oceanfront setting on the Dana Lawn where guests can enjoy an afternoon of global street-food stations, local brews, live music, and lawn games. The resort’s expert culinary team presents a variety of unique stations, including a Bratwurst and Pretzel Bar, Fish and Chips, Wild Game Barbecue, Latin-inspired Tapas, Satay, Bubble Waffles, and Gourmet Popsicles. These savory and sweet bites are complemented with beer tastings from local breweries including:

  • Stone Brewing
  • Laguna Beach Beer Company
  • Docent Brewing
  • Left Coast Brewing
  • Pizza Port

Event tickets are $90 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and includes a beer tasting glass. A cash bar will also be available.
