RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – December 1, 2017 – This holiday season, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage will welcome guests with a variety of festive offerings and social gatherings around the property. Throughout the span of 10 days, guests can partake in any of these joyful activities:

  • Thursday, December 14: Complimentary hot chocolate & marshmallows at The Snug from 6-7PM.
  • Friday, December 15: Mistletoe & Martinis at The Snug from 6-7PM.
  • Saturday, December 16: Mrs. Claus reading hour for Ritz kids at the lobby fireplace from 6-7PM.
  • Thursday, December 21: Christmas movie classics at The Snug from 4:30-6:30PM.
  • Friday, December 22: Holiday treats from The Spa at The Snug from 11AM-2PM.
  • Saturday, December 23: Cookie decorating experience at The Snug from 6-7PM.
  • Sunday, December 24: Reading of The Night Before Christmas from 6-7PM.

All month long at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, guests can also indulge in a 100-minute Chocolate Truffle Treat, featuring either a Chocolate Truffle Body Wrap or Chocolate Truffle Facial. Each treatment ends with a complimentary box of truffles and a glass of sparkling wine. Starting at $295.

Guests and local visitors can celebrate the holidays with a delectable buffet at the resort’s signature dining concept, State Fare Bar & Kitchen. Featured dishes include; roasted parsnip cauliflower soup, potato croquettes, or an octopus salad with crispy chick peas. Finish the evening with something sweet and try the dark chocolate mousse or ‘State Fare Carnival,’ a fried doughnut with vanilla ice cream, a waffle cone caramel apple chocolate sauce and jalapeño popcorn. The desert oasis offers exceptional culinary cuisine and stunning natural beauty, curating the perfect backdrop for a memorable Christmas holiday.

Lastly, guests can ring in the New Year with an impressive menu created by Executive Chef Bruno Lopez featuring lobster bisque, lamb and a winter salad with pumpernickel croutons. Kiss 2017 goodbye and say hello to 2018 with a special ‘New Year Celebration’ sweet finish, including sponge cake, Tahitian vanilla mousse, late harvest California raspberries and Valrhona chocolate.
