Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden

It’s fun for the whole family and a must-see attraction when visiting the city with kids. It’s one of the oldest zoos in the world, and its extensive green patches, leafy groves, remarkable plants and flowers make the place a refreshing sanctuary within the bustling city.

5000 miniature figures, 1300 meters of rail tracks, 600 buildings and 100 trains rolling.
MINIVERSUM is a beautifully detailed and decorated model train universe featuring many sights and landmarks of Budapest and Hungary – as well as parts of Austria and Germany – scaled to 1:100 of the original size.  It is one of the largest miniature exhibition in the world, and there’s so much to see.

Hungarian Railway Museum

The Hungarian Railway Museum is Europe’s first interactive museum of its kind. There are over a hundred vintage trains, locomotives, cars and other types of railroad equipment on display, even a dining car built for the famous Orient Express. Apart from the vintage exhibit, the adventurous visitors can drive a vintage steam engine or ride on a railcar. The museum is always a favourite among kids and it is located in a beautiful park that surrounds the museum.
