 New appointments at The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow

Moscow – February 22, 2019 – The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow is proud announce the appointment of two professionals with global experience who have joined the team: Marco Kuefner as the Director of Rooms and Oksana Boyko as The Ritz-Carlton Spa Director.

Marco Kuefner, Director of Rooms

Mr. Kuefner joined The Ritz-Carlton family in 2013 as a Front Office Manager in Wolfsburg, Germany. Originally from a small town near Munich, 31-year-old Marco turned his passion for travelling into his life’s work. Marco followed the brand philosophy across multiple countries: United States, Hungary and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Marco held several positions at the Andaz London Liverpool Street, a 5-star hotel managed by Hyatt Hotels, and the prestigious hotel The Landmark London. Today Marco Kuefner is responsible for 334 rooms, including 64 suites, Club Lounge and Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow, located in the heart of the capital of Russia.

Oksana Boyko, Spa Director

Starting from 2014, Ms. Boyko was leading the wellness center Espace Vitalite Chenot located at Barvikha Hotel & Spa. Earlier Oksana was in the company Aldo Coppola in Moscow where she led multiple launches such as implementation of Ayurveda and yoga at the spa center in Zhukovka and introduction of international beauty brands into the Russian market. Years of experience in the luxury segment, customer-focused strategy, participation in international programs and educational projects brought Oksana professional recognition. At present, Oksana manages The Ritz-Carlton Spa with 14 treatment rooms, working exclusively with La Prarie and ESPA products, a spacious aqua area, 24-hour fitness center, spa café, Beauty and Retail Studio with an extended selection of premium cosmetics as well as a spa membership program.
