Highball & Harvest Puts a Luxurious Spin on The Traditional Father’s Day Cookout
ORLANDO, FL - June 13, 2018 — Highball & Harvest at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes provides families with a wonderful opportunity to spend more time connecting and less cooking with its untraditional spin on a Father’s Day cookout.
The Father’s Day Feast at Highball & Harvest will be offered from noon to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 17th, and features a wide variety of specialties representing its farm-to-table southern culinary adventure philosophy. The buffet feast begins with Sunday Morning Libations including champagne with assorted fresh juices and a craft beer bar. For those who are “Still Craving Breakfast” the offerings include fresh seasonal fruits and berries, house-made breads and pastries, Ginger Maple Scotch Egg with Anson Mills Grits, an omelet station and eggs cooked to order, pancakes and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, and assorted house-made jams, Nutella, and vanilla cream.
The feast will also include a selection of salads, an Ice Bar with cold water oysters, poached shrimp, crab cakes, and Pastrami rubbed Tuna Loin. Entrees feature Smoked Chicken with Surplus Beer, Roasted Tri-Color Beans, and Alabama White BBQ Sauce; Roasted Florida Snapper with Charred Broccolini, Marcona Almonds, and Citrus Butter Sauce; Chimichurri Rubbed Skirt Steak, Charred Local Onions, and Scallion Agrodolce; plus Vanilla Braised Pork Belly, Organic Sweet Potatoes, Candied Collard Greens, and Sweet Tea Gastrique. Carving and Chef Action stations include Smoked Beef Short Ribs, Roasted Market Fish, and Mangalista Pork Burgers, with Spicy Baked Beans, Mac N Cheese, and Buttermilk Whipped Potatoes as sides. To finish off the feast, guests can select from Cuban Chocolate Parfait, Smoked Chocolate Macaron, Bourbon Infused Watermelon, Sweet Tortillas, Assorted Chocolate Barks, Chocolate Pretzels, Chocolate Truffles, Red Bull Marshmallows, Lemon Meringue Tart, Pecan Pie, Peach Stew, New York Cheesecake, Blueberries Compote, Coffee Éclairs, and Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake.
