CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO –  May 28, 2018 – The existence of a greater number of visitors who know what they want and seek new experiences pushes the tourism sector to reinvent itself, through the exploration of new market niches in an increasingly diversified industry.

The secret to be a leader on the world of luxury tourism is to be constantly innovating, said David Cayuela, General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Cancun. According to Cayuela, this sector is in constant evolution since each year it reaches a wider range of visitors.

When the Ritz-Carlton arrived in Cancun a quarter of a century ago, shared Cayuela, it was considered ‘completely out of place’ because it was the first hotel that would merge the European style of Ritz-Carlton with a Mexican touch.

“Today this is something that differentiates our resort from the rest in the area and although innovating is not exempt from risks, sometimes it is necessary to break the rules”, reflected the hotel’s General Manager.
