The spirit of the holiday season fills The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans once again as special events and elaborate decor are back for another year of festive traditions. Upon entering the Beaux Arts retreat, guests will be greeted with wonder and merriment as a light and ornament display illuminates the lobby and sets the stage for holiday memories. The beloved gingerbread replica of the Canal Street Streetcar will also make its return to the third-floor lobby, with Louisianians from the area’s past and present being portrayed as passengers in each of the windows.

Join the Ladies & Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans for a special unveiling of the hotel’s elaborate holiday decorations with a ribbon-cutting reception. The beloved Canal Street Streetcar makes its return to the third-floor lobby, where the surprise famous Louisiana passengers will be unveiled. The décor installation kicks off a season of beloved traditions at the hotel including holiday teas and gingerbread house building, along with culinary experiences. Enjoy complimentary holiday treats to celebrate the start of the season on Tuesday, November 22 at 11 a.m.

Build Your Own Gingerbread House

Continue a beloved holiday tradition with The Ritz-Carlton as children of all ages are invited to build their own festive gingerbread house. For $195 for a table of four, guests will receive a gingerbread house with all the decorating essentials in addition to holiday refreshments, and unlimited champagne or mimosas for the adults. Available December 10, 11, 17-21 at either 12 p.m. or 3 p.m for $195 per house for up to 4 guests. An additional 5th and 6th guest can be added for $25.

Papa Noel Tea

Gather with family and friends for a festive afternoon at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Children will enjoy wonderful holiday surprises as well as a three-course tea menu created especially for the youngest guests, while adults are able to indulge in unlimited house champagne or mimosas. Available December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17-21 at 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. for $75 per adult and $55 per Petit Gourmand (12 and under).

Thanksgiving Day Fête

Allow the culinary experts at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans to remove the hassle from your holiday season and prepare a delicious Thanksgiving meal for your family. Enjoy an enhanced four-course menu featuring a seafood opening course, dessert, and champagne paired with live entertainment. The four-course menu is served on November 24 from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. in M Bistro for $115 per adult and $45 per Petit Gourmand (12 and under).


Enjoy the Creole tradition from the mid-1800s at M bistro with a special Réveillon four-course holiday feast on the night before Christmas. Live entertainment in Davenport Lounge will complement the meal throughout the evening. The four-course menu is served in M Bistro from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. for $115 per adult and $45 per Petit Gourmand (12 and under).

Take the planning out of your Christmas meal and allow the culinary experts at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans prepare a special feast for family and friends. The Christmas Day Jubilee features a four-course menu, with seafood starter, and champagne, paired with live entertainment to get into the holiday spirit. The four-course menu is served from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. for $115 per adult and $45 per Petit Gourmand (12 and under).

New Year’s Eve Celebration

End 2022 on a festive and memorable note as the chefs of M bistro present a five-course dinner paired perfectly with exquisite wines. Jeremy Davenport begins performing at 8:30 p.m. and will host a countdown to a champagne toast at midnight. The five-course dinner is served at 8:30 p.m. for $250 per person (for adults 21 and over only).
