Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea in Star Lounge
September 1 - October 11, 2015; 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. daily
Star Lounge will be offering a special Alice in Wonderland Tea menu in honor of the 150th Anniversary of the Novel this year! The specialty menu will feature items such as the Mad Hatter Tea, Card Soldier Sandwiches, Caterpillar confections and homemade scones all with different inspiration from the 1869 classic.

Guests will receive a copy of the book to take home with them, and tickets will be available for purchase at the Concierge desk to the Morgan Library & Museum's special Alice in Wonderland exhibit - featuring the original manuscript, drawings, letters and vintage photographs celebrating the 150th Anniversary.

Daily
The Feeding of the Horses is a noontime ritual, a Moment in Time that celebrates the hotel’s unrivaled location on the Park. The ritual is an opportunity to feed the iconic Central Park Carriage Horses in signature Ritz-Carlton fashion. Details can be coordinated through the concierge.

Central Park Zoo

The exhibits at the Museum of Modern Art are always changing so there is always something new and exciting to look forward to. A short 10 minute walk from the hotel, the museum offers a variety of contemporary as well as historical pieces that everyone can enjoy. In fact, admission is free for all visitors during Target Free Friday Nights, held every Friday evening from 4-8 p.m.

Experience the beauty and history of Central Park in one of the Horse Drawn Carriages that are lined up along Central Park. Our concierge can arrange rides in advance for our guests. During the tour, guests have the opportunity to see The Wollman Rink, Pond, Zoo, Sheep Meadow, Historical statues, the Carousel, and the Dakota. The Horse Drawn Carriages are available all year round and there are a couple of different kinds of rides to choose from. Guests may choose between a walk-ups or pre-arranged carriage rides depending on their needs.

A Standard Carriage Ride costs $50 plus tip for the first 20 minutes (per carriage)
Carriage Capacity: 4 adults per carriage

Gondola Ride

Conveniently located across Central Park, our hotel allows guests to freely explore what Mother Nature has to offer. The Classic Venetian Gondola, centrally located within Central Park allows guests to experience a unique perspective of the park. Auden Bistro & Bar joins Kenzo Estate to present a memorable and rare evening of luxury food and wine. Captivated with Napa Valley after the historic 1976 Judgment of Paris, owner Kenzo Tsujimoto—who is also the CEO of Capcom Co., a Japanese video game developer and publisher —dreamed of establishing his own Napa winery dedicated to artfully crafted world-class wines steeped in tradition. After 20 years dedicated to the pursuit of the finest Napa Valley winegrowing terroir, Kenzo Estate opened its doors in 2010 with tours and tastings by appointment only. Located on 4,000 acres on Mount George, Kenzo Estate features the wines of renowned winemaker Heidi Barrett of Screaming Eagle, Grace Family and Dalla Valle fame and vineyard manager David Abreu who has worked with Arajuo, Colgin and Bryant. Owner Kenzo Tsujimoto will be present throughout the dinner to discuss the evening’s wines.

The evening begins with a canapé and wine reception at 7 p.m. followed by a four-course dinner with wine pairings at 7:30 p.m. $225 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
