Tel Aviv, Israel – Oct. 25, 2016 - Mr. Ned Capeleris, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya is delighted to announce the appointment of Eli Pinsler, new Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya.

Chef Eli began his career in Israel, serving several positions with international hotel chains in Tel Aviv. Later in his career, he served as Head chef of a hotel in Germany, as Lufthansa airline’s Chef of Kosher Department, and as Head Chef of Agadir, a renowned local restaurant chain in which he oversaw the operation of 13 kitchens.

He joined The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya family in October 2016. In his new role Eli will manage the banquet operation kitchen, and will work alongside Mor Cohen, chef of the Herbert Samuel Herzliya restaurant.  “I am honoured to join the team and to continue delivering the best food in Israel. I look forward to bringing further innovation to kosher gourmet cuisine and to contributing to the thriving culinary scene in Israel”, says Eli. He is a big fan of the cold kitchen or “garde manger”, and his chef goals include Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

Eli is married and has 4 children; he holds degrees from both Cordon Bleu and the Tadmor school of Hospitality. In his free time he rides his Ducati and is a fan of extreme biking.
