A tough workout or a few days of walking around the city can take a toll on your body. These havens of wellness offer ways to relax the body and mind.

Hydrotherapy, wet and dry saunas, an infrared lounge, a meditation room, a sleeping room and a full menu of spa treatments are among the amenities at this house of wellness.

This meditation studio aims to make the practice accessible to everyone and offers 30-, 45- and 60-minute sessions. When classes aren’t scheduled it’s open for self-guided meditation.

Sweat is the secret behind this studio, which uses FAR infrared to increase body temperature and create an intense, detoxifying sweat said to help skin, weight loss and stress relief.

The main focuses here are immersive, audio-guided meditation and relaxation rooms, but there are also tranquil community lounges, a gift boutique and snacks and drinks.

The anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties of salt are absorbed through 25-minute sessions in the Himalayan salt rooms at this studio. The treatment is natural and safe for children. The closest studio is on 46th Street & 5th Avenue.

Multi-sensory sessions begin with an aura reading and are followed by energy balancing, a crystal healing and healing songs. Visitors go home with a bath blend and spiritual “homework.”

Extreme cold, administered in cyrochambers or cyrosaunas, is used to release toxins, replenish oxygen and renew energy. The therapy is said to be anti-inflammatory and reduce pain, improve mood and improve overall health.

Sound vibration is the center of the healing sessions at this studio, which offers yoga, sound- and gong meditations, vibrational sound massage and other balancing and awakening experiences.
