For your convenience, we have compiled answers to common questions you may find helpful in choosing the types of treatment that best meet your individual needs or desires.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Guests of the Sharq Village Spa and Fitness Center must be at least 18 years of age. Salon services are available for guests of all ages.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require 48-hour notice. A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.
What about payment for Spa services?
The Sharq Village Spa accepts all major credit cards. You may also charge Spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.
What about gratuities?
Additional gratuities are a matter of personal discretion, and should reflect your satisfaction with the services of the Sharq Village Spa.
What about my comfort?
This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify the therapist of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in the Sharq Village Spa.
How will my spa treatment end?
Each of the 23 Sharq Village Spa treatment rooms is equipped with an en-suite shower and bath. Most treatments and packages include a brief period where you will be left alone to enjoy your shower or bath. Fresh disposable underwear will be provided for your use after bathing.
Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
The Sharq Village Spa Reservation Department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify the Sharq Village Spa Reservation Agents when booking your treatments if you have any sort of medical condition of which we should be aware, such as high blood pressure, allergies, physical disabilities, pregnancy or receiving chemotherapy treatments. If you have any concerns, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify the Sharq Village Spa Reservation Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guest room. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the Sharq Village Spa.
Do I need to make a reservation for a treatment
The Sharq Village Spa welcomes walk-in guests based upon availability, however we highly recommend that you make reservations at least 3 days in advance.
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you relax in our lounges, saunas, steam rooms and Mineral Baths.
Are Gift Certificates available from the Sharq Village Spa ?
Absolutely. You may purchase gift certificates for monetary amounts or for select services at Sharq Village Spa.
