Home is where the heart is, but for the young children at Sun Village, it is where there is compassion. For over 14 years this non-governmental charitable organization has been dedicated to providing a stable, warm family life and tailored education programs for children whose parents have been incarcerated. In 2011, The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing donated an Organic Farm to Sun Village so the children can enjoy access to healthy foods. During harvest season you are invited to join the hotel’s ladies and gentlemen as they travel to Sun Village, located 40 minutes away from the hotel in Shun Yi suburb, to meet the students and help with the harvesting of the fruits and vegetables. The unique experience will culminate with a cooking class by the hotel chefs as you help to prepare and serve meals for the students.

Departure from The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing at 9 a.m. and return at 3 p.m.
Children must be 12 or older to be able to participate.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Reservations should be made two weeks in advance.
