Illuminated by thirty-five Murano-blown glass, peony flower-shaped chandeliers and sparkling Liu Li colored glass inlays in each ceiling panel for good fortune, the 504-square-meter ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests for receptions and 320 for seated dinners. It is divisible into three and features a 200-square-meter pre-function area. The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom is the only luxury hotel ballroom in Beijing featuring built-in motorized LCD projectors and intelligent lighting installed on its ceiling. The eight-meter arched ceiling also allows for spectacular audio/visual productions.
The hotel exterior's contemporary design of glass and chrome provides the Temple of Heaven ballroom with floor-to-ceiling tempered glass windows allowing natural daylight. In Imperial China, the emperors would pray in the Temple of Heaven for good harvests. This ballroom pays homage to its name, making it a perfect venue for memorable wedding banquets. The 250-square-meter ballroom with a 3.5-meter high ceiling is divisible into two and can accommodate up to 220 theatre-seated guests and 140 for banquets.
Located north of the hotel is the Temple of Earth meeting room. In Imperial China, this temple is the site of the emperors' private ceremonies. Today, intimate and private business meetings can be conducted in the hotel's Temple of Earth room, accommodating up to 30 participants, depending on seating arrangements.
The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street, features a truly unique event venue located near the outdoor pool. This poolside venue provides an ideal setting for romantic celebrations such as weddings, wedding receptions or poolside proposals, as well as memorable bachelor parties or birthday celebrations. This versatile outdoor venue is also the only place that features a poolside movie of “Golden Time” in downtown Beijing.
