The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is a 10-day cultural celebration in which thousands of musicians, cooks and craftspeople welcome 500,000 visitors. Celebrating its 37th year, the festival showcases music on multiple stages, offers an array of Louisiana cuisine and features artisans from the region.

You will work side-by-side with members of Habitat for Humanity — as well as those enrolled in the Operation Home Delivery program — to build a home in the city’s most devastated areas, such as Eastern New Orleans, the lower and upper 9th Wards and the Musician’s Village. Each site will be transformed into a home for a displaced resident that has made a down payment and volunteered 200 hours of their time on other build sites.
