Freshness, quality, and passion are the essential ingredients for Chef Jasper Schneider. Since joining The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas in 2006, Chef Schneider has instilled his philosophy of cooking with passion into all aspects of the resort’s culinary pursuits.
Most recently with The Palms at Turks and Caicos, Chef Schneider served as Chef de Cuisine for Azur, Le Bernardin’s West Coast dining establishment, where he trained with the renowned Eric Ripert. Other experience includes serving as Executive Sous Chef for A Pacific Café in Kauai. During his tenure the restaurant was named one of the top three restaurants in Hawaii.
Chef Schneider was born in England but grew up in the culinary mecca of New York City where he honed his passion for cooking. He attended the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York, graduating in 1994.
“I believe in the importance of cooking from your heart and soul and putting passion into every thing you create,” said Chef Schneider.
