Klaiman has a broad international experience of over 30 years

 in the hospitality industry

Guy Klaiman has been appointed Managing Director of The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya. Klaiman has an impressive record of leadership and commitment to quality, with more than 30 years of experience in the hotel industry in Israel and abroad. 

Klaiman served as   General Manager  at the  Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem since November 2011, and played a key role in its opening in 2014. The opening process under his leadership awarded the hotel the 2015 Human Resources Excellence Award.

He began his career in the early 1990s at the Hilton hotel &resorts, where he served various positions over the years: Assistant Conferences and Banqueting Director at The Langham Hilton, Assistant Food and Beverages Director at the Jerusalem Hilton. In 1994  ,Food and Beverages Director at the Hilton Tel Aviv, in 1995 at the Glasgow Hilton and in 1997 at the London Hilton Park Lane. In 1998, he came back to the Hilton Jerusalem - this time as Director of Operations. 

In 2000, he served   as GM at  Hilton Istanbul. By 2003, Klaiman received recognition for his outstanding work and was promoted to his first General Manager position at the Hilton hotel &resorts properties in the UK as General Manager of Hilton Islington and London Tower Bridge.

The appointment of Guy Klaiman as CEO of Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya will be effective May 28, 2017.

Klaiman will replace Ned Capeleris, who completed his term and will continue to manage another property owned by the growing Marriott Company.   Under Capeleris, the Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya became Israel's leading hotel in service and quality. 

As General Manager, Capeleris was responsible for driving a significant increase in the number of international business and high-tech companies choosing the Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya as their local location , as well as a growing share of leisure tourism and family events (particularly of Jewish families arriving to Israel to attend Bar Mitzvah and weddings) and leisure destination for travelers from all over the world that fell the Ritz-Carlton Herzliya is  there “Home away from Home” and luxury  location . 

Capeleris has incorporated the unique language of the  Ritz-Carlton, and the brand's service code embedded in its corporate motto: “We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen”.
