Manama Meeting Spaces Pairing Beauty With Function

The elegant meeting venues at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain are designed to host gatherings of every kind. Two large ballrooms and a new exhibition center, The Arena, which is ideal for conferences and tradeshows can accommodate up to 4,200 guests. The library and two boardrooms allow close collaborations while luxury villas provide a relaxed setting for intimate events and a private island impresses with its Arabian Gulf and skyline views.

Al Ghazal Ballroom

The crystal chandeliers cast a warm glow over the rich blue carpets in this elegant ballroom. Seating up to 550 guests, the 940-square meter Al Ghazal is also divisible into four rooms (Al Ghazal 1, 2, 3 and C).

Al Noor Ballroom

At 858 square meters and seating for up to 600 guests, this is a ballroom fit for royalty - and it often is. Opulent and luxurious with a decor of intricate golden designs, this grand ballroom is a favourite for weddings and other happy celebrations.

Villas

The Villas at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain exudes a relaxed elegance throughout. Low lying, surrounded by azure waters, each has a distinctive identity and allure. Each villa measuring more than 400 square meters is at least 20 meters from the next and is conveniently situated to offer private caterings and special occasion events in order to create memorable experiences. The Villas can be used for private family BBQs serving both lunch and dinner for up to 30 people. Several live cooking stations such as Shawarma, pasta station, mixed grill, crepes flambee and chocolate fountains can be set up. The Villas can also be used for small meetings for up to 12 people. The table arrangement can be arranged on the villa terrace facing the ocean and small team buildings can be organized on the villas own private beach, at the temperature controlled swimming pools or in the private garden.

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions for fewer than 25 people. Many hotels have elegant "boardrooms" for 10 to 20 people, equipped with full audiovisual capabilities, a writing board, cork board and a flip chart.
E-Shape, U-Shape and T-Shape
Appropriate for groups of fewer than 40 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual is usually best set up at the open end of the seating.
Theater
Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can be moved.
Reception
Stand-up social function where beverages and light foods are served. Foods may be presented on small buffet tables or passed by servers. May precede a meal function.
Schoolroom or Classroom
