Beijing China, 12th July 2018 – The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Parkington as Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing.

Dale hails originally from South Africa and brings to the team over 20 years of hospitality experience gained at prestigious luxury hotel properties around the world. Dale started his career at The Royal Hotel, in Durban, South Africa and during his career led Food and Beverage operations at multiple Grand Hyatt Hotels in Europe, Africa, The Middle East and Asia. Dale then joined One & Only Resorts as Resort Manager in two iconic properties in Africa and the Caribbean. Most recently, Dale was the Resort Manager at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, located in the Bahamas.

In his new role, Dale will oversee F&B, Culinary and Rooms Division and will focus on maximizing revenues, strengthening the extraordinary services of The Ritz-Carlton while creating lifetime memories for its guests. His proven track record of remarkable leadership will continue to inspire the potential of the hotel’s Ladies and Gentlemen, leading the team to achieve excellence in all that they do.

Dale grew up in the hotel industry as both his parents were hoteliers. In his spare time, Dale enjoys golf, scuba diving, skiing and shooting. Travel is another passion that he shares with his wife Indah, and they are excited to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and explore this fascinating country.
