The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes recognizes the power of curiosity and creativity and strives to inspire it with kid-friendly activities. Drawing upon the natural beauty of our Orlando resort, our Ritz Kids experiences are based on four pillars: land, water, environmental responsibility and culture. Our hotel provides captivating opportunities through storytelling, lessons on recycling, arts and crafts, physical activities and much more.

Ritz Kids Program
Our Ritz Kids drop off program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities designed especially for children aged 4 to 12. Ritz Kids has something for every child on vacation.

Daily 12 - 5 p.m.*

*In an effort to eliminate program interruptions, drop off schedule is as follows:
Half Day - $70 per child (Session 1 or 2)
Full Day - $120 per child (lunch included)
*Ritz-Carlton Club Level and Executive Suite guests: complimentary for up to three children per room, per day. All other guests: complimentary two hours for up to two children per room, per day; additional hours at $20 per hour, per child.


Open House for All Ages! 
We invite families to join us in Ritz Kids for open house. All ages can join in games, movies and a take-home craft of the day.

Daily 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Complimentary. All children must have parental supervision. 

Ritz Kids Daily Program (ages 4-12)
Session 1: 12-2 p.m. & Session 2: 2:30- 4:30 p.m.

Saturday: Create a Culture. Learn about the concept of culture by sharing experiences about diversity.

Sunday: Who Needs Seeds? Learn how we all benefit from seeds. 

Monday: Trash Bash. We throw things away everyday...but where is "away"?

Tuesday & Wednesday: Adventure Day

Thursday: Amazing Nature. Explore the beauty of Grande Lakes.

Friday: Rivers. Learn how rivers benefit nature and humans in many ways.

*The daily Resort Fee includes two complimentary hours per child, up to two children per room between 12-5 p.m. The Ritz Carlton Club Level & Executive Suite guests receive unlimited complimentary hours up to three children per room between the hours of 12-5 p.m.

Kids Night Out
Join Ritz Kids for dinner, arts & crafts, games and movies while parents enjoy time exploring the resort.

Daily 5 - 9 p.m. | $100 (dinner and Ritz Kids takeaway item included)

Recreational Activities:

  • Fish Feeding - Daily at 11:30 a.m., meet at the Lakeside Terrace 
  • Butterfly Gardens - see concierge for a map with locations
  • Bocce Ball Court
  • Daily recreation activities at the pool, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Activities also available on property at the JW Marriott Orlando.
    • Activities Center: Play a Wii game, enjoy arts & crafts, or kick back and watch a movie.
    • Lazy River Pool
    • Sand Volleyball, basketball and tennis
    • Bonfire
    • Hair wrap, braids and temporary tattoos


Other Services:

  • Kids and Teens Spa Adventures and Treatments - A variety of special spa services are available to children and young adults including treatments designed to teach the importance of self-care and well being. These are an exciting part of any birthday party or special event. Special Spa services for children include manicure and pedicure; teens between the ages of 16 and 17 may enjoy teen facials. A parent or guardian must accompany guests under the age of 18.
  • In-room Entertainment - The Ritz-Carlton, Orlando is pleased to offer The Disney Channel and the Family Channel in all guest rooms.
  • P.O.L.O. - The Protect Our Little Ones (P.O.L.O.) guestroom package includes blocking electrical outlets from little fingers and removing alcoholic beverages from the in-room refrigerator to accommodate bottles and other necessities.
