Reservations can be made by calling (808) 729-9783 or by requesting a service online. We encourage you to reserve treatments at least one week in advance.
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas and steam rooms.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men. If you do choose to shave prior to your treatment, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments.
Should I wax, shave, laser or use the sauna or steam room before a body scrub?
To achieve the utmost satisfaction and comfort from your service, we ask that you wait at least 8 hours before and after the spa service to wax, shave or use the sauna or steam room. In addition, we recommend that you limit your sun exposure before and after the body scrub.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, please dress to your comfort level. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. It is highly recommended that all makeup is removed prior to all spa services. Robes and slippers are provided for your comfort and use. Lockers are available for your personal items.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying at the resort, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guestroom. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in the spa facility. For your comfort, please do not wear any jewelry during your spa treatments.
Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Our Spa Concierge will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order in which to enjoy your treatments.
May I use the spa amenities without getting a treatment?
The fitness center is open to all guests staying at the resort. Spa facilities, including locker rooms and relaxation lounge, are open to spa guests who have purchased a treatment or service.
What about my comfort?
This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. We will require that all guests wear face coverings in common areas. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please share your preferences with us. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in the spa.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
All adults over the age of 18 years may receive body treatments or massages. Additionally, minors ages 16 – 17 may use fitness equipment only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must cancel your individual appointment, please notify us 24 hours prior to your scheduled time to avoid being charged the full-service fee. A credit card number is required at time of booking.
If you are feeling any of the following symptoms, please call our Spa Concierge to inform us of your symptoms to allow us to care for you in the best way possible.

shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
muscle or body aches
new loss of taste or smell
congestion or runny nose

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, as your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied, regardless of late arrivals.
What about payment for spa services?
A valid credit card number is required at the time of reservation. All major credit cards with proper identification are accepted for payment. Spa services can also be charged to your resort bill. Please present gift cards at the time services are rendered. Prices and services are subject to change.
What about gratuities?
A 20 percent service charge will be added to each spa service. At your discretion, you may leave additional gratuity for your therapist.
Are Gift Certificates available from the spa?
Absolutely. You may purchase The Ritz-Carlton Gift Cards online in specific dollar amounts, which are redeemable in any of our hotels and resorts and can be used towards spa services or purchases at spa boutiques
What if I have special health considerations?
Please inform our Spa Concierge with complete and accurate health information at the time of booking your treatments. It is important to note if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities requiring special assistance, or if you are pregnant. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
Please consult your physician to ensure massage therapy is indicated at this time. While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please let our Spa Concierge know of your pregnancy at the time of booking your appointment so that they can offer guidance. Please note that pregnancy massages should be done only during the second or third trimester.
What safety precautions will be in place during my spa service?
The Ritz-Carlton Spa adheres to the most current CDC guidelines to protect the safety of our guests. Face coverings are required during spa services in all common areas. During your time with us, your therapist will ensure all treatment areas are properly handled and sanitized.
Will I need to wear a face covering during my massage treatment?
Yes. To preserve the safety of yourself, other guests and our therapists, The Ritz-Carlton Spa requires face coverings during the entirety of your service.
