The magic of Mexico and the healing elements of nature form the foundation for the signature experiences at Spa Alkemia. Treatments are performed in rooms surrounded by water and lush foliage or a couple’s casita. Casa Privada offers an exclusive spa experience for groups or couples with its own plunge pool, lounge, massage studio and steam room.
Inspired by the traditional temazcal, or house of heat, this ritual begins with an energy cleansing ceremony followed by a botanical scrub. Heat is gradually added to detox the body, and a cooling outdoor shower promotes circulation.
Natural, local ingredients including tamarind, brown sugar and salt are used to craft customized, hand-blended body scrubs to awaken the senses and hydrate sun-soaked skin.
Comfort and deep relaxation are delivered with a warm, handmade herbal compress and firm, flowing massage featuring desert sage, vanilla and lavender oils. The face is cleansed, treated and hydrated with a blend of natural ingredients.
Ayurveda says that activating energy points opens pathways to vital body forces. Drawing
from that wisdom, this full-body massage begins on a warm gemstone bio-mat and includes aromatic oils and a facial massage using crystal wands.
A glowing complexion is delivered with a skin-brightening exfoliation and pure pearl hydration mask. Hands and arms are massaged with an uplifting blend of aromatic oils and the face is hydrated with a coconut-aloe, skin-brightening balm.
Playfulness and passion come together in this experience for two. Begin with bodypainting using colorful clay followed by refreshing, tequila-soaked paletas beneath the sun. After a relaxing steam and dual shower, enjoy side-by-side massages.
A celebration of the city’s gardens, this relaxing ritual includes a farm-to-table exfoliation, massage using rose and orange blossom oils and application of a rich, floral body butter. The experience closes with a healing reflexology session.
