The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya creates a volunteering platform that encourages hotel ladies and gentleman and guests of the hotel to contribute in a meaningful way and give back to society, through a company-wide CSR program by the name of Community Footprints.

Activities include volunteering with animals in a monthly dog walking activity organized together with a local dog shelter. During the day, volunteers will give much needed love, attention and exercise to homeless dogs that await adoption. Volunteers will receive a Community Footprints T-Shirt. They will run, play and feed the dogs and some may even adopt a dog as a result.

Melany, Front Office Agent, who participated in the last activity, shares: “Dogs are my weakness and the thought of a dog sitting in a cage all day, without anyone to pet and care for him saddens me. The dog walking activity is such an important and fun way of spreading love and is very rewarding. I am thrilled that my workplace gives me this opportunity and hope that more of my colleagues will join me for the next dog walk”.

Hotel guests and pet lovers are invited to join and partake. The upcoming dog walking activities are scheduled for: September 12, October 27, November 8 and December 19.
