CLUB EXPERIENCES FOR YOUNG GUESTS
The Club Lounge is a home-away-from-home for many families who visit several times throughout the year. To ensure young guests enjoy an equally indulgent experience, the lounge features a collection of games including Monopoly, Scrabble and UNO; a large selection of books; a locally inspired Ritz Kids Newspaper; and a beautiful candy display with classic sweets and seasonal treats.
A BIRTHDAY TO REMEMBER
One of the hotel’s most memorable young guests was visiting with her family, who traveled the world staying in different hotels for weeks at a time. During their stay at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, they became a fixture in the Club Lounge, where the girl would hug the Ladies and Gentlemen each day upon arrival, and her father would read to her on weekends. Upon departure, the girl was upset that she wouldn’t be celebrating her birthday at the hotel, and the father promised they would return after their next trip. When they returned, the Guest Relations and Club Lounge teams organized a surprise birthday party in the family’s room, gifting the young lady a tea set she had admired during her previous visit. Rather than eating her birthday cake, she rushed to the Club Lounge, tea set in hand, to see her old friends.
