The Story Behind This Historic Philadelphia Hotel

The story of The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia began in 2000, but the hotel’s building has a history that goes back more than 100 years. Originally built as the home of The Girard Trust Company between 1904 and 1908, the former bank building features an eight-story tower, rotunda, and neoclassical style reflective of the era. Today, the hotel blends its classic charm with contemporary style and is a Historic District highlight.
