The Abama Tennis Academy – located 1,4kms from the resort – has provided the ideal environment and ambience for tennis enthusiasts since 2005. The 7 tennis courts have been used for various ATP and ITF tour matches and are each equipped with illumination and Flexi®-Pave surfaces in the style of the US and Australian Open courts.
The quality of its professional tennis and paddle facilities is surpassed only by their exclusive location, unique in Tenerife.
Players of every level and age are welcomed to play! Coaching is also available for the whole family, groups, couples and individuals, offering a wide range of possibilities.

While enjoying a tennis match, players can relish in the picturesque views to the Atlantic Ocean, Mount Teide and the neighbouring Canary Islands.

The Academy´s centre court can accommodate up to 600 spectators and the remaining six courts feature grandstands and covered rest areas for players, as well as changing rooms, restrooms and parking facilities. The complex also offers four paddle courts with illumination and AstroTurf surfaces.

Kindly note that from May 16 to the May 27, the padel courts will be closed as the surfaces are being replaced on all four courts.

Please consider that the tennis and paddle courts are managed directly by Abama Tennis and are not part of The Ritz-Carlton, Abama´s facilities.
