Our Ritz Kids program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities designed especially for children aged 5-12. Offering full or half-day options, seven days a week, Ritz Kids has something for every child, including:
- The Ritz Kids Roundup, a western-themed, camp-inspired outdoor adventure program
- Nature hikes
- Scavenger hunts
- Rodeo field trips
- Rocky mountain arts & crafts
- Kids-only outdoor recreation area and game room
- A healthy lunch with each day’s activity program
In addition to our Ritz Kids program, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers junior guests a variety of special services and amenities, including:
Bachelor, the resident Labrador Retriever
Bachelor is the resident yellow Labrador Retriever at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. During your visit you will see him walking around the property and in the Great Room or on his dog bed by the concierge desk. He is available for families to take for a walk through the resort's signature Loan-a-Lab program.
A recent Lab rescue from Nikeno's Second Chances in Denver, Colorado, Bachelor was found wandering the streets lost on the 4th of July in 2006. After trying to locate his original master to no avail, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch adopted Bachelor to be the resident Labrador at the luxury mountain resort.
Loan-A-Lab
Enjoy a walk through scenic Bachelor Gulch with Bachelor, the resort's resident yellow Labrador Retriever and is available for hikes and snowshoes through the concierge desk. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This complementary service is available weekdays.
Fire Pit Lighting Tradition
Enjoy the Bachelor Gulch fire pit lighting tradition daily with free hot chocolate, apple cider and freshly baked cookies at 3:00 around our Fire pit on the Mountainside Terrace. Listen for the clang of the triangle on the Mountainside Terrace and you'll know it's time to gather for the lighting ceremony. The firepit lighting ceremony is seasonal during the Ski Season and in the Summer from June through September.
Ski Nanny
$50 per child, $10 each additional family or group member
Ski Nanny is a service for children participating in the Beaver Creek Ski School full-day program. Children should purchase their lift ticket, ski lessons and equipment prior to meeting in The Ritz Kids room between 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. From there, they are off to their ski lesson in Beaver Creek Village. At the end of the day, the Ski Nanny meets the children in Beaver Creek and returns them to the Ritz Kids room, where they may stay for Munchies and a Movie at no additional charge.
Bachelor Gulch Youth Spa
December 15 - April 8 and June 22nd - September 30th
Available daily, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Fitness Studio for guests ages 5 to 17. BG Youth and Teen Spa services are performed with the guest fully clothed, are 25 minutes each and include the following spa and wellness options.
- Massage Service: $68

- Nutritional Consultation: $40
- Personal Training $40
A 20% Service Charge will be added to the above price.
Kids' Night Out
6:00 - 10:00 p.m., $75 per child (includes dinner)
In addition to fun off-property activities, Kids' Night Out has special theme nights on certain days of the week. Please see our schedule for upcoming adventures. Munchies and a Movie
4:00 – 6:00 p.m., $20 per day
Each day a movie will be played in The Ritz Kids room from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., where the children can relax on bean bags after a day of mountain adventure and indulge in popcorn, hot chocolate and juice. Children of all ages are welcome to attend, however, children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Reservations are not required. Munchies and a Movie are complimentary for children who are enrolled in the Ski Nanny program.
Cookie Creations
2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Let the decorating begin! The Ritz Kids program adds a sweet activity to the summer schedule with Cookie Creations. Children will get a chance to personalize their tasty treats with sprinkles, icing and more. Cookie Creations will be held every Thursday and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
