Aqua Aerobics - This program will teach you the basics of aquatic fitness in a group setting. You will learn proper technique and various upper and lower body movements that are easily adaptable to challenge each individual at their own fitness level. Develop skills to make your aquatic fitness class a safe and effective addition to your current fitness program. Get results quickly have fun doing it.
Body Conditioning - A fun non-aerobic conditioning workout to enhance muscle definition. strength and endurance. You will be lead through a workout focusing on proper technique. Abdominal exercise is included. Ankle weights, body bars, dumb-bells, dyna-bands or tubing will be provided.
Bosu is essentially a dome shaped platform that can be used to perform various exercises. You will be lead through various full body exercises, which also targets your core. In essence, it’s a workout class that improves strength, balance, coordination, abs as well as challenging your cardiovascular system.
Boxercise - A cardio and muscle-conditioning workout in one with combinations of boxing and kickboxing moves along with various combat/defense moves. A truly fun total body and stress-relieving workout.
Circuit Training is a type of interval training in which strength exercises are combined with endurance/aerobics exercises, combining the benefits of both a cardiovascular and strength training workout.
Dancercise is a fun aerobic workout where you will learn and enjoy Latino Dances. Dancercise combines the exercise of aerobics and the steps and rhythm of dance, making it a more enjoyable experience. Since dancercise is also about learning to dance, it helps to improve muscular coordination and control.
Deep Stretch it is an hour of pure relaxation and stretching the whole body. Starting from the toes and working all the way up your body stretching out the muscles and increasing flexibility in the process.
Hatha Yoga - A physical approach to the yoga practice involving postures, movements and breathing to improve strength and flexibility, decrease stress, and enhance body awareness.
Legs, Bums & Tums - Designed to be simple to follow; it’s an aerobic focused class emphasizing on getting results in the leg, bum and tummy area. The workout is designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels.
Pilates uses the mind to control the muscles. The program focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to proving support for the spine.
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) Stretching is an advanced form of flexibility training that involves both the stretching and contraction of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching was originally developed as a form of rehabilitation, and to that effect it is very effective. It is also excellent for targeting specific muscle groups, and as well as increasing flexibility. PS: Please warm up for 10-15 minutes before this class.
Spinning - Increase your endurance and stamina on the bike! This journey will be 60 minutes in length and will focus on endurance using basic riding principles. A great ride for the cycling enthusiast.
SPIN/ABS
This workout is a combination class incorporating indoor cycling, abdominal exercises and flexibility/relaxation work. It offers a 30-minute intensive spin class on the bike followed by 20 minutes of abdominal/core work, and 10 minutes of stretching.
Total Abs - A 30 minute workout zeroing down on the trunk and abs using the creative techniques of core training.
Total Body Tone is an anaerobic form of exercise that develops stamina and strength through specialized exercises. Total Body Tone will also aid muscle definition and endurance.
Yoga - Utilize your strength, flexibility and stamina in a gentle non competitive approach. Proper body alignment, breathing and specific yoga techniques will also be taught throughout the program.
Strategically positioned for refreshing sea breezes, the Sports Club’s four floodlit tennis courts with superb surfaces promise exhilarating play, while the air-conditioned glass-backed squash court offers a cooler alternative.
Internationally qualified coaching is available for all levels and ages for both tennis and squash enthusiasts. There are classes for ladies, mixed and children throughout the week. Competitions are periodically arranged for members. There is also an air-conditioned glass-backed squash court and lessons by internationally qualified coaches.
Tennis - Volley for volley, stroke for stroke, the courts awaits you to test your skills. The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Tennis Academy is the best way for you to learn and improve your game with our internationally qualified professionals. It’s up to you now to take advantage of the four floodlit courts, and remember, game, set, match.
Squash - If you are looking to maximize your development as a squash player, look no further. Exhilarating, exhausting and explosive rallying with our internationally qualified Squash professional is the finest line of attack in developing your game in shortest time possible.
