The Curtain Club is the bar of The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin and provides seating for up to 60 guests with an interior design resembling the style of a British Gentlemen-Club, which has a working fireplace. It is the perfect place for Champagne connoisseurs in Berlin to enjoy a relaxed evening in an elegant ambiance. Named after the heavy curtains which separate the bar from the lobby, The Curtain Club is more than simply a bar. Bar Manager Michael Frohnwieser and his team offer affordable drinks, tasty bar food and creating every cocktail the guest would like to have, even if they are unknown. On the stroke of six the curtains open the view to the bar announced and celebrated by a real Beefeater (Wednesday to Sunday). The cocktails are all worth a try. Plush leather as well as bolster arm chairs, a collection of 90 Champagnes complimented with stylish and diverse live entertainment position the bar as the place to be for all connoisseurs and bon viveurs. Furthermore the bar offers an extensive Martini and Champagne cocktail menu. Each cocktail is presented in its own glassware, especially designed to enhance the special character of each drink.

Also, The Curtain Club is the only Bar in town which offers Egly-Ouriet Champagne to its guests. The champagne of Francis Egly captivates by the outstanding quality of the raw wines. The age of the vine goes back until the year 1947 and there are only 85.000 bottles produced per year.
