Montreal-born, Zitouni joins The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto from The Ritz-Carlton Penha Longa Hotel and Golf Resort in Portugal, where she worked as Head Chef, overseeing all outlets including Restaurant Il Mercato, Lobby Bar Bistro and Serra Restaurant. Prior to this role, she was the Restaurant Head Chef at Arola under the mentorship of renowned 2-Michelin star chef Sergi Arola, and has had the privilege of working with some of the industry's most celebrated chefs including Torsten Sallstrom, Vittor Claro, Susur Lee and Jaime Perez. Chef Zitouni's culinary career is highlighted by being named one of the Top 10 restaurants chefs in Portugal from Time Out magazine in 2010 and hosting Top Chef Germany.

Executive Chef, Bruno Lopez



Chef Lopez joins The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto from Los Angeles where he served as the Executive Chef for the General French Consul, overseeing official and private events at the Residence de France. Prior to this, Chef Lopez enjoyed an extensive career with Ritz-Carlton, including senior positions at hotels and resorts worldwide. In 2004, Chef Lopez was recognized by the French government as Chevalier de L’Ordre Du Mérite Agricole. He is a member of Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, Club Culinaire of Los Angeles, Les Toques Blanches International, the James Beard Foundation, L’Academie Culinaire de France and the prestigious Association des Maitres Cuisiniers de France (French Master Chef), with only 350 members worldwide.
