Westend Bistro by Eric Ripert

Westend Bistro by Eric Ripert is Washington’s new, dynamic casual American bistro by the acclaimed 3-star Michelin chef at New York’s Le Bernardin.

Culinary Director Eric Ripert presents a straightforward menu of simple signature dishes inspired by his family traditions and recipes. The focus is on the ingredients, culled from fresh, quality produce by local farmers in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Westend Bistro offers a bustling scene with a friendly bar menu and signature cocktails. Guests can indulge in lunch, brunch and dinner at the bar or in the stylish alcoves & raised banquettes throughout the energetic room. Upbeat lounge music and arresting tones of amber, honey, currant-red and blood-orange, coupled with rich cohiba brown and gold, underscore the chic and clean design from award-winning architects Adamstein & Demetriou.

Sunday Brunch at Westend Bistro by Eric Ripert

Westend Bistro presents D.C.’s first Sunday Brunch Club, an exclusive series of monthly brunch gatherings with cooking demonstrations available for up to 8 guests.

Based on the new trend in underground dining, The Sunday Brunch Club aims to bring together a group of 8 gastronome adventurers who seemingly may have nothing in common other than an appetite for a spontaneous afternoon of socializing over great food and beverages while partaking in a mini cooking class. Unlike some of the underground dinner clubs however, you don’t need to be a member, or be referred by a member to join our excited new epicurean club. The Sunday Brunch club is ideal for a first date or perhaps an ideal chance to meet one – you can either enjoy the company of close family and friends for an intimate afternoon, or revel in the wild card opportunity to meet new people.

The Sunday Brunch Club is held on the second Sunday of every month and combines the best of breakfast and lunch including drink pairings and a cooking demo led by Chef Palma. Chef Palma’s four-course seasonal menu will rotate each month, featuring fresh, local ingredients representative of that time of year. I will also be on hand with custom cocktail, beer and wine pairings to complement the delicious brunch menu.

Priced at $75 per person not including tax and gratuity, The Sunday Brunch Club includes a four-course brunch with drink pairings, cooking demonstration, and departing gift including the brunch menu and recipes. Eight reservations are available for each Sunday Brunch Club, with reservations offered on a first come-first served basis by contacting Restaurant Reservations at (202) 974-5566.
