Since taking on the role of Pastry Chef in April 2016, Crystal Broadbent enhanced Bar Cocoa’s selection of magnificent wedding cakes and imaginative seasonal treats. Crystal’s love for her craft stems from her childhood, when she observed her grandmother and brother in the kitchen. Their secret recipes now line the shelves of the Charlotte dessert boutique, granting it a homemade Southern touch. Crystal’s innovative spirit, passion for her craft, and Johnson and Wales experience are her recipe for success in creating unforgettable moments for hotel guests and locals alike.
