Tianjin, China, April 1, 2018 – This April, one of the most popular chefs from Italy and also the social media celebrity chef Marco Tola, invited by Ornato Antunes, Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin, is coming to host a delectable four-day culinary feast with his creations on plate from April 11 to 14, 2018. His visit is bound to bring Tianjin foodies indelible dining experiences.

Born in Sardinia, Italy, Marco began his culinary journey at the age of 22. Different from other famous chefs, Marco has never learned from any famous chef with experience of Michelin-star restaurant. Instead, his outstanding talents are a result of his divine flare and persistent efforts. His culinary muse comes from his everyday life and the different colour combinations, structures, and composition in nature – all these inspire him to create beautiful, delectable dishes. Marco is particularly interested in food creativity. He will spend hours in each day studying all possible combinations of colours, ingredients, and chopping and cooking skills. His motto, “The sky is the limit”, fully encompasses his respect and passion for life, food ingredients and various cooking methods.

His success comes not only from his natural talent, but also his persistent efforts in cooking. For him, every outstanding chef is a teacher, whose achievements, efforts, story and culinary spirit inspire him to continuously create, with passion, highly refined Italian delicacies with “Marco” style. His viewpoint of being a chef is: “If you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it. Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself.” His persistent and conscientious attitude toward cooking has uplifted him to global popularity. Currently, he has over 90,000 followers on Instagram.

Marco is very excited about his upcoming trip to Tianjin. He is looking forward to bringing Tianjin foodies special tastes through his favourite ingredients and advanced cooking skills.

Since its opening, The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin has been offering innovative delicacies in the forms of classic afternoon teas and Chinese, South Asian, and Western cuisines. In addition, the hotel also often invites famous chefs from the world over to Tianjin, where they team up with the hotel’s talented chefs to bring forth various food adventures featuring global delights. This time, the four-day feast will definitely stir up Italian frenzy among Tianjin residents.

From April 11 until 14, the four-day event will feature different Italian delicacies and themes each day. Marco will also be there to explain to Tianjin customers his culinary aesthetics in person.
