Endless Adventures
From outdoor programming to family and dog-friendly activities, the opportunities for adventure are endless at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. ‘Bachelor’s Lil’ Campout’ can be reserved for kids, which brings the outdoors inside via an in-room teepee setup. In-the-know travelers can

take full advantage of Club Level for an additional fee which varies by season and includes access to daily culinary presentations, premium beverages and exclusive experiences in the luxurious Club Lounge. Vacationers never have to worry about leaving a family member behind as all, including dogs, are welcome. Taking it a step further, the resort believes that four-legged friends should enjoy the same luxuries as their humans and offers the ‘Bachelor Pack,’ which includes special treat delivery, ‘Pampered Pup’ in-room dog massages, and dog toys, among other surprises. The package is named after one of the resort’s Canine Ambassadors, a Saint Bernard named Bachelor. Staying true to its mountain heritage, the resort has a second Canine Ambassador, a Bernese Mountain Dog named Scout. Those traveling without pets are welcome to join one of the special hikes with Bachelor or Scout – or catch them during one of their daily appearances in the lobby. Additionally, those who don’t ski can take in the resort’s stunning surroundings via the resort’s popular Naturalist Program activities. From Whiskey & Woodburning, to Stargazing Snowshoe Tours, to Après-Ski Stretch, and more, the resort offers memorable experience for every type of traveler. Non-skiers can also enjoy the après scene around the outdoor fire pit with live music performed by a cowboy.

Authentic Culinary Delights
Serving cuisine as elevated as the mountain it’s served on, the dining experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch impress all with exceptional food and vibrant atmospheres that are uniquely Colorado. The resort’s signature restaurant – WYLD – is a nod to the resort’s location ‘on the edge of wild’ and brings Colorado’s rich bounty to life via house-blended seasonings and various cooking techniques, including a 1,200-degree broiler. For a casual yet rustic vibe, Buffalos is an elevated gastropub, which even has its own custom beer called ‘Buck Buck Moose.’ The brew is made exclusively for the resort by Tivoli Brewing Company, the oldest brewery in Colorado. Perhaps the most unique dining experience – Anderson’s Cabin – takes visitors back in time to the early 1900s, when Bachelor Gulch was founded. Located adjacent to the resort and the original home of John Anderson – one of the seven ‘bachelors’ who settled the area as lettuce farmers – the cozy cabin offers a rare opportunity to dine in the mountains like Bachelor Gulch’s founding fathers. The space is available for private events of up to 12 people during winter season, complete with sophisticated mountain cuisine. Additionally, ‘Social Dining’ is now offered on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, where individual seats in the cabin can be reserved for a historic dining experience with new friends ($150 per adult including champagne; $75 per child up to 12 years-old). Those seeking a broader Beaver Creek Mountain connection can take the chair lift outside the resort to the ‘Candy Cabin’ where sweet treats await, including the guest-favorite chocolate-covered Swedish Fish.

Après After Dark: The New Way to Après-Ski

Complete with plush indoor seating and a stone-lined outdoor terrace with glass-framed fire pits, the chic space features seasonal libations and delicious bites along with live DJ entertainment on select nights and a selection of premium cigars in the heated outdoor area, which also serves as Vail Valley’s only cigar lounge. Those looking to splurge can enjoy one of the world’s most expensive cigars – His Majesty’s Reserve Gurkha – for $2,000 per cigar.

Rocky Mountain Restoration
The Ritz-Carlton Spa is built underground and against the mountain offering a tranquil sanctuary with restorative amenities to relax the mind and body after a day of adventuring. One of its hidden gems is the oxygen bar which aids to alleviate altitude discomfort. Additionally, the spa facility – featuring a co-ed rock-lined grotto as well as private men’s and women’s circuit rooms with grottos, steam rooms, saunas, and plunge pools – is available to all resort guests to utilize during their stay at no extra cost.
